🎉 Today we celebrate reaching the first goal of the CodyHouse Design System section: we just published component number 100! It took us 6 months of hard work (and tons of mistakes and fixes) to get where we are. Thanks to all of you supporting us along the way 🙏.
First time you hear about CodyHouse Design System? It's an arsenal of web design resources composed of:
The idea behind the Components was to provide production-ready assets to help developers design interfaces faster. It was essential to keep the style minimal so that developers deal with less code, and don't need to modify - but rather add their style on top of the base we provide. The response to the Components has been great so far, and we can't wait to see this section grow more and more!
We couldn't find a better way to celebrate the 100x goal than releasing our first template!
Virgo was created by copying and pasting 25 components, distributed across 6 unique pages. The global styles were defined using the Global Editors. The glue that holds the components together is the CodyHouse framework. Nothing more (Not a single extra line of CSS/JS)! 🙌
If you wish to learn more about how to include the Components into your project, take a look at our video:
Our long term plan is creating an ever-growing library of resources for web designers. Expect more components, experiments, and learning material.
Besides the free resources, we're building a new section of premium material called CodyHouse Pro; it'll include advanced components and exclusive web tools. If you haven't already, sign up to be notified when we launch! 💪
